Inspired by the guardian spirits of home and hearth in The Bear and the Nightingale, this sock pattern is ultra cozy—just the thing for curling up with a great book. The wide cables, designed to look like fireplace openings, work beautifully with tonal yarn or your wildest variegated skeins. Don’t forget a mini for your cuffs and toes!
Yarn
You’ll need one (1) approx. 100 g skein and one 20 g mini skein of fingering weight yarn.

Sample shown in Size 2, knit on US 1. Socks have negative ease with plenty of stretch to ensure a snug fit while still pulling easily over the heel.
