Vintage Ornament Socks
Designed for the Woolberry Fiber Co. 2020 Advent kits, the Vintage Ornament socks use colorful mini skeins to recreate the playful stripe patterns featured on ornaments from the 1940s.
Sizes
1: 56 Stitches - 8”-9” foot circumference
2: 64 Stitches - 9”-10” foot circumference
3: 72 Stitches - 10”-11” foot circumference
Gauge
US 1/2.25 mm - Approx. 7-8 stitches per inch in stockinette.
Sample shown in Size 2, knit on US 1.
Socks have negative ease with plenty of stretch to ensure a snug fit while still pulling easily over the heel.
Yarn
You’ll need ten (10) 20g mini skeins. Each stripe pattern uses a different amount of yarn—gram approximations are called out with each Ornament Stripe. Approximations are given for two (2) socks.
